String of Pearls

Botanical name: Senecio Rowleyanus
We just love trailing plants and this one in particular, because it is quite easy to look after. The succulent-related string of beads can be placed anywhere in the house and doesn’t mind a draught. Make sure to soak the soil during its monthly bath and avoid watering right on the pearls themselves. Otherwise, the vines tend to rot off.

Necklace Vine

Necklace Vine

Botanical name: Muehlenbeckia
Looking for a plant that thrives indoors and has a voluminous look? Then go for the Necklace Vine, also known as Australian Ivy or Wire Vine. This plant will grow anywhere – in sun or shade – as it is so adaptable to its surroundings. Unlike the String of Pearls, this plant is a thirsty one and likes to be watered from above, once a week. The Necklace Vine’s secret ingredient to growth + volume = repotting!

Satin Pothos

Botanical name: Scindapsus Pictus
The Satin Pothos (or Satin Money Plant) is a climber with beautifully patterned dark green leaves. Its outstanding appearance makes it a great addition to a terrarium. But this plant isn’t just a must-buy because of its outstanding looks. The plant is believed to bring the owner luck and money! Besides, Scindapsus is one of the most air-purifying plants we know. To keep the plant satisfied, treat it to a warm environment and make sure not to overwater it.

String of Hearts

String of Hearts

Botanical name: Ceropegia Woodii
We told you we love trailing plants ;-). This plant is also known as Sweetheart Vine or Chain of Hearts, because of its beautiful heart-shaped leaves. Did you know that the String of Hearts is also an easy one to propagate? Just cut off the new growth at the ends of the vines and tuck it into the soil at the top. This will create a bushier effect on the top of the plant.
